Continuing to invest into its strategy to provide excellent customer service, DoorCo is delighted to welcome Michelle Kirkham into the role of Customer Service and Order Processing Manager.
Michelle (known as Shell) comments: “My Customer Service Management career started just over 23 years ago working across retail, wholesale, logistics and for the last 8 years in manufacturing, a sector I fell in love with. It was time for a new challenge and as soon as the position was advertised by DoorCo, I jumped at the chance. Since joining, I’ve been blown away by the professionalism and camaraderie of the people here.
“As my career shows, I am extremely passionate about customer service. I enjoy helping customers to solve problems and be there to provide a voice of reason when things go wrong. Nobody is perfect all the time, so things do go wrong. It’s how we deal with any problems that really counts, and my aim is to get the team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Over the years in customer service, I’ve become skilled in what some call conflict resolution. I call it being committed to doing the right thing by our customers.
“I love the culture here at DoorCo. From the first time I stepped into the building, I felt extremely comfortable and valued. The team are so professional, as well as welcoming and friendly. Having already met quite a few customers and seen how they share the same passion for delivering excellent service, I’m now in the process of organising team visits. This will help us to understand our customers’ real-life needs better, and we’ll use the feedback to continually improve and grow, whilst also ensuring processes are as streamlined as possible.
